Painting for Joy and Discovery

When children paint, it doesn’t have to “be” anything. It will most likely, however, be a thoughtful, creative process.

Our children have their choice of paint tools readily available. Brushes, sponges, rollers and texture tools are all within reach.

While painting, a child might be asked, “Would you like to try a texture tool?”

Sometimes, the joy is in making the really great texture disappear!

Adults will ask, “Do you need another color? Would a tray be easier?”

We provide the materials, the children provide the ideas!

The slashing of the fork inspired this "Tiger Claws" painting.

It's a child's choice!
